The Pulaskis are an Army family who have recently moved to Connellsville, so they understand the repeated changes and goodbyes of military life. Shelly and Howard attend a Cadence International barbecue where their family meets Carla Perkins and her children. Darcy quickly befriends Bridget, while Miles eagerly listens to Wyatt's outrageous stories. Shelly helps provide a family setting in which the Perkins children meet others who share the challenges of military moves. Her household brings energy, openness, and new friendship into the ministry's hospitality community.
