Rebecca "Becky" Riley Clemmens is the younger sister of the late Tom Riley, a dear friend of Whit, Connie Kendall, and Eugene Meltsner. As a girl in the 1930s, she was a country doctor's daughter. On one errand through the woods, she held her brother to their father's rules while he strayed, and both paid for his disobedience. After Tom's death, she inherited most of his 288-acre apple farm, with an acre each left to Whit, Connie, and Eugene. Warm-hearted and welcoming, she keeps the farm running with the help of Karno Westcott's traveling troupe, who live and perform there. She also boards rescued horses for Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch and opens the farm to foster children so they can enjoy country life.
