Rachel Jefferson

Rachel Jefferson is the mother of Alex Jefferson and lives with her family in Odyssey. She works at Campbell College. She and her husband raise Alex under ordinary household rules - bedtimes, chores, and curfews - which their son does not always appreciate. Her position at the college once drew her into trouble she did not cause. Alex and his cousin Cal used her password to sneak into the campus computer system, and the break-in was traced to her. She was accused of hacking until the boys confessed and helped catch the real culprit. She is also a baker at home. She once made a tin of chocolate-chip macadamia cookies and sent Alex to carry them to his grandmother's house on a snow day.
