Bethany Shepard

Bethany Shepard is the youngest daughter of Ben and Ellen Shepard, a family in Odyssey. She is Aubrey's little sister, and the two share a bond that survives every squabble between them. Bethany lives largely in her imagination. Her closest companion is Belinda, an invisible friend nobody else can see. Belinda rides horses, gets trapped under logs, and blasts off from the apple orchard, and Bethany reports each adventure as an urgent emergency. She interrupts Aubrey constantly with these crises, and the rest of the family cheerfully plays along. Not every alarm is pretend, though - she once found a real fawn caught in a thicket. Devoted to her sister above all, Bethany will scheme, hide, and invent whatever it takes to keep Aubrey close.
