This episode seems to contain a clue to the later discovery that Wooten writes the PowerBoy comics. When Talia says the artwork in one of the comics is superb, Wooten replies, "Well, thanks!" before adding, "I mean, I;m glad you like it."

Wooton drives to Mrs Randolph's house but she is neighbors with the Washingtons who are neighbors with the Rathbons who are nieghbors with Wooton. So Wooton would not have needed to driven just a couple of houses away.
