In Telltale Cat David "Deposes" of Fluffyface so logically the cat wouldn't have been around at the end when Mandy asks where he is. Maybe she had two cats named Fluffyface.

Actually, though David tries to get rid of Fluffyface, he doesn't actually harm the cat. Fluffyface is returned to Mandy at the end of "The Telltale Cat."
