The Chairman

The Chairman is the shadowy leader of an organization determined to steal classified information from Jason Whittaker. Speaking from concealment, he orders Jason's kidnapping and demands the names of his Pentagon contacts. When Jason refuses, the Chairman threatens the people and things he values rather than relying only on physical pain. His agents use surveillance, poison, false emergency vehicles, and advanced technology to pursue their objective. Even after Jillian Marshall rescues Jason, the Chairman quickly discovers where to search next. Patient, calculating, and well supplied, he prefers to control events from behind other operatives while preparing plans capable of threatening far more than one captive.
