Mr. Redekop

Mr. Redekop is the janitor at Odyssey's high school and understands the building's security system. When every student locker is repeatedly opened overnight, Emily Jones and Matthew Parker question him about possible entry routes. Redekop explains that sensors protect the doors and windows, but he knows of no alarm being triggered. He also passes along an envelope found beside Emily's locker. The poem inside directs the young detectives toward a window with a broken lock and a wire defeating its sensor. Redekop's practical knowledge and careful attention to the school grounds give Emily and Matthew useful pieces of a puzzling case.
