Dr. Jennings

Dr. Jennings is a physician at Hillingdale Haven who helps care for Agnes Riley and Arthur Dent. He explains that both patients have improved through an experimental treatment using radio waves to replace faulty brain waves. When Whit connects the device to Novacom, Jennings refuses to stop treatment without proper authority, especially because Agnes's husband has approved it. He later supports Agnes through severe memory problems, recognizing that she can recall distant events while forgetting recent ones. Jennings appreciates the connection she forms with young Mandy and asks Tom to investigate the date and initials troubling her. When Agnes disappears from the hospital, he alerts the family, examines her strange collection of library books, and assists the urgent search.
