Janelle Bourland
Janelle Bourland is the wife of Peter Bourland, an agent whose work keeps him busy, and the mother of Michaela, a middle schooler who prefers to be called Mike. She belongs to a family living in Virginia, where her household crossed paths with Connie Kendall during Connie's visit to see Mitch. Janelle's daughter once hid her love of ballet to play the son she believed her father wanted, and the family worked through that misunderstanding together, sharing projects like building a treehouse.
