Howard J. Weizel

Howard J. Weizel is a slick attorney who represents Bart and Rodney Rathbone after Rodney falls through a skylight at Whit's End. Although Rodney had climbed onto the roof to set a water-balloon trap, Weizel presents him as an innocent victim and promises the family a fortune from a negligence lawsuit. Jason and Jack try to change his mind by showing him a future in which dissatisfied clients sue him, but he responds with another lawsuit. In court, Weizel pursues money while ignoring Rodney's responsibility for the accident. The jury awards only one dollar, which the attorney pockets before abandoning the case. His conduct turns legal rights into tools for greed rather than justice.
