Agent Florin

Agent Florin is an MI5 officer who works beside Agent Billings during the investigation of terrorist Mr. Grote. From a surveillance van in London, Florin watches Jason Whittaker enter Reggie Fingers's fish-and-chips restaurant while posing as an American criminal. Reggie's men steal Jason's coat and hat, then use the disguise to enter the van and release gas. Florin and Billings are knocked unconscious, while cameras and witnesses make Jason appear responsible for attacking them. The deception helps turn MI5 and Scotland Yard against their own operative at a critical moment. Florin's brief part shows how carefully Grote's network manipulates evidence and professional trust. Even trained agents can become tools in a frame-up when an enemy controls appearances, timing, and the story investigators see first.
