Barbra Haynes

Barbra Haynes is a photographer and sculptor whose competitive streak turns dangerous after she loses an art contest at Jacques Henri's gallery. Furious that another artist's egg sculpture wins the prize, she joins forces with Antony Cross, a man seeking revenge against Judge Jones. The two strangers agree to commit each other's crimes so neither will appear to have a motive. Barbra destroys the sculpture while Antony helps frame Emily Jones for bullying. She dismisses the young detectives when they confront her, confident that their evidence will not hold up.
