Pastor Aldin

Pastor Aldin serves the church attended by the Parker family. He invites Matthew Parker to deliver the message on Youth Sunday, trusting a young person with a responsibility that Matthew finds frightening. The assignment pushes Matthew to study courage, seek his father's guidance, and keep going despite his fear of speaking before knowledgeable adults. Matthew eventually shares Joshua 1:9 and explains how he has seen courage practiced within his own family. By giving Matthew a meaningful place in the service, Pastor Aldin helps him discover that faithfulness does not require feeling fearless.
