Thetoo.com Currently Down
As many of you have noticed, thetoo.com is currently down. It is extremely unfortunate but it appears the domain expired, through no fault of my own. The domain was scheduled to expire on April 2, 2007 but I was told it was automatically renewed by my registar on March 27, 2007 to extend the registration into April 2, 2008. I was even charged and the money was withdrawn from my account. I never followed up with it, but it appears my registrar (Netfirms) did not bother to ever actually renew it. So needless to say I'm trying to get things sorted out as soon as possible.

And yes, this is the second time in 5 months that this has occured... (hence AIOSODA.com being born and AIOSF.com being let to die). Needless to say, if you're looking for a hosting provider or registrar, do not sign up with Netfirms.

Adventures in Odyssey Wiki!
I am proud to present AIOWIKI.com, the latest Adventures in Odyssey website! For over a year people have been asking if I was going to create a full wiki for AIO and my hope was to simulate wiki features here while maintaining some control. But I need to get with the times! So I've setup the AIOWIKI for everyone and anyone who wishes to submit content. There's not much there right now and we're still fiddling with design and content layouts, but everyone is welcome to contribute. So check it out!

But what does that mean for the Soda Fountain? I understand this means there will be a great deal of duplicate information and perhaps some features here (like the Episode Notes page) will be less widely used... but this site will not be affected. In fact, I still have a few things planned coming up in the next few months. Wiki's are a wonderful tool, but there's an infrastructure here that as of right now can't be duplicated in a wiki. I can dynamically calculate character appearances, lists of shows actors/characters/staff have appeared in, sort content based on your preferences, generate interesting statistics, provide a source for the latest news and hopefully maintain a more visually dynamic experience. My desire is for the wiki to complement the Soda Fountain, not replace it, and I would still like to encourage everyone to continue contributing to this site like you've been doing. I should note that I will personally not be heavily involved with AIOWIKI.com (I want to let the community maintain/run it), but I look forward to the progress the collective fans can make with the latest addition to the Adventures in Odyssey web community!

"The Other Side of the Glass I, II, III" Description
There's been a lot of speculation in recent weeks about what "The Other Side of the Glass I, II, III" will be about. Well, I'll give you a push in the right direction...

The Power-Boy symbol for help begins appearing on windows around Odyssey whenever Bernard sprays them with his new window-cleaner. Wooton is determined to find out who is signaling for help... and why.

Not exactly what anyone expected, is it? I've read and re-read the description a few times now and each time I've come up with a different interpretation... everything from it being a zany comedy featuring colorful characters to a much more serious story that happens to involve two of Odyssey's funniest citizens. With Paul McCusker, anything's a possibility... but because it's Paul McCusker (and is a three-parter, no less), I hold my breathe in anticipation of finding out exactly what kind of genre this story is going to fall into. My gut tells me three episodes is a wee bit long for a comedy, but I've been wrong before.

And maybe I just really, really, really want another show that can be mentioned in the same breath as "Malachi's Message I, II, III"... the show that inspired me to create this website 7 years ago. At least I used the inspiration Malachi gave me at the end of the episode to create something that lasted for longer than an episode.
