The Official Site now has another clip up from the episode "Nova Rising". It involves Alex and Cal exploring the Novacom website when they receive another mysterious instant message from the user Arem. Should be interesting, and it will air this Saturday! Also don't forget to check out yesterday's interview with Kathy Wierenga, it's a great read (with some hints of things to come).

The Soda Fountain is honored to introduce our first interview with one of the writers on the Adventures in Odyssey team. Kathy Wierenga, better known for her work on "Missionary: Impossible" and "Mandy's Debut", took time out of her busy day to answer my many questions. Some of the most interesting things that came out of the interview is that she has confirmed a new episode titled "Broken Window" (sounds intriguing) for the spring season, and that Connie Kendall will get a "romantic interest" in the upcoming "Green Eyes and Yellow Tulips" (which will air at the end of February). Things to definitely look forward to!

The Official Site won't stop updating their site! They have now added a poll and forum question based on who the fans think "Arem" might be. It claims they will reveal the answer to that question this Tuesday (though I'm sure it will be more of a general answer, then a specific spoiler). Arem was first introduced in the episode "Red Herring", when Alex and Cal hacked into the Campbell College website where they were visited by the mysterious user.

Yesterday, The Official Site added a preview for the upcoming episode "Nova Rising". It includes a clip of Bernard visiting Whit's End to inform Whit that his window washing days are over! Why? Because Novacom has just bought B-TV! What does this mean for the future of Odyssey? I guess we'll all just have to listen very closely to episodes over the next season. There's also an in depth preview for "Escape from the Forbidden Matrix" the next animated video from focus to be released. It's an adaptation of the episode "Gloobers" from the radio series.

One year ago today the Soda Fountain hit the internet. Although the title of the site was not yet "The Soda Fountain", the look and feel of the site has stayed exactly the same since that inaugural day. The "Episodes" section would soon follow on February the 23rd (coincidentally the same day the site was finally called "The Soda Fountain"), and the site gradually worked it's way into the top AIO sites with the likes of the UAIO and the AIOHQ. Since that day, the Soda Fountain has continually added reviews of newly aired episodes, added David Harley's lost transcripts, provided the latest news on anything AIO related, and even had quite a successful forum for a short period of time.

Then, during the summer of 2000 "AIO Survivor" graced the pages of this site. Which after nearly two and a half months of grueling hardship and mixed emotions, Tom Riley eventually walked away as the million dollar winner. Lots of great things have happened so far, and I have many more planned for the future. With a collection of interviews, character lists, and plenty more reviews that will all hopefully fall into place over the next few months, the Soda Fountain's success has only just begun. I would especially like to thank Nathan Hoobler for all the information he's provided me over the year, and to everyone who continues to visit my site.
Please come back again and inform your friends about it. Without you, this site would have collapsed.

It's been a pretty slow week so far, at least as far as AIO is concerned. Although later today (maybe even now depending on the time you're reading this), The Official Site will have an updated edition of "The Odyssey Times". That is of course provided the server gets back up and running. I'm also working on a few new things that I hope I'll be able to put up within the next week or so. Stay tuned!

It looks like the Family Portrait episodes will be airing later this year! At least it seems that way according to the Ask the Producers section. Although it's still subject to change, there's a good chance we'll be able to catch the episodes that started it all later this year (presumably during the summer, since no new episodes will be airing during that time). Unfortunately there are still no plans to re-release them into an album.

January 18, 2001
I've been reading through the Ask the Producers section of The Official Site, and noticed some rather interesting information. In response to a question about Connie getting a boyfriend, the producers tell it's listeners to tune into the Spring season. Is this a hint of things to come? Or is it just wishful thinking? I guess we'll all find out soon enough.

January 17, 2001
Got a question you've been wondering about AIO? Head on over to The Official Site and ask the producers a question! If they have an answer, they'll try and answer it for you.

Wow, what an incredibly slow week this has been. Sorry there hasn't been any information about AIO that has come up recently, but seeing as the next season will debut in just under 3 weeks time, I'm sure some new info will come up soon. Stay tuned!

January 09, 2001
The Official Site now has a new script up in the "Little Theatre" section. It's from the episode, "A License to Drive" written by Phil Lollar and it's a great read!

The AIOHQ and The Soda Fountain have decided to upload comments we received during the "End of Fall Season 2000" awards. You can check the best of the lot by heading here. Thank you to all who voted!

Odyssey Central has updated their site with a large merchandise section, among other things. I would also like to point out that Passages, a fan site about the popular books, has also updated their site with a message board for their fan based story "Hiro's Doubt". Speaking of that, whatever happened to "Monarch's Tribulation"? Guess we'll never know :o)

January 01, 2001
Wow, the year 2001 is already here! It's also January 1, so that means the "End of Fall Season 2000" awards are all wrapped up now. The votes have been tallied, and all the details can be found be heading here. There you will find a complete write-up based on my own opinion. The AIOHQ also has a write-up prepared that you can check out here.
