The scene where we first hear Blackgaard is the only time we ever hear Edwin and Regis interacting. The dialogue is incredibly interesting and speaks volumes about the character of Regis.

Exatly what is the size of the Oddyssey City Council. In the Nemisis we have 5 members. But in gathering thunder the report said a vote was 7-2 implying 9 members. And in hard losses Hank Bonsil said the council voted 4-3 in favor of a recall implying 7 members. Here the vote was 3-2 to close Whit's End so we once again have 5 members.

Answer to the above goof. There possibly might have been members who were not present at the council meeting for one reason or another. There will be times when not all of the city council members show up. (i.e. they get sick, are on vacation etc.)

True but if there really were 9 members it's highly unlikely we would have so many votes with 2 or 4 absent members. City council members don't take that much vacation.
