Final Speculation

Below is a selection of testimonials from the contestants given throughout the course of the game. It's not only important to know what the players said about the mole, but what the mole said about the others. Hopefully this will help you in deciding who the mole is, though (let's be honest) it also might throw you completey off! In any case, feel free to go back and read the challenges again (if you have time) and maybe come up with some more theories! Happy hunting!

Week One (Kidnap Challenge):

Barry: "There’s no doubt in my mind that Jack Allen is the mole. Going into the game, I didn’t expect the old guy to be a traitor, but he pretty much proved it today, running us right into that sandbar and ruining our chances of catching up with Monica. I tried to grab the wheel from him, but that stubborn old guy has a lot of strength and I didn’t get control in time to save us. He cost us the game and many of us won’t forget that."

Jack: "I hate to cast judgment on someone, especially this early into the game, but I suppose I knew this was expected of me when I joined the game, so I’d say Barry was the most suspicious. I had us on course and I believe we would have passed that sandbar without incident, but Mr. Muntz insisted that I was wrong and got the wheel from me and rammed us right into the sandbar."

Week Two (Castle Challenge):

Jack: "This is a very difficult game to play. I don't like how we've been turned against our own friends. I don't want to sit her and speculate that Connie could be the mole, or that Eugene is a traitor, or that Jason is sabotaging challenges. But one of the eleven left here is doing just that. However, after watching with my own eyes and listening to stories told by the other contestants, Jason Whittaker is in fact the one I'm beginning to believe is planted by the producer. For starters, he penalized the group $2,000 and then wasn't able to hit any of the targets in the Castle Challenge. Considering his background, I would think Jason would have a slightly better shot."

Monica: "Well my gut tells me that Jason isn't the mole. Though, maybe I just want to trust him so much. We've talked it over and decided two heads are going to be better then one. We've gone over the contestant profiles and things we've noticed during the competition and both of us agree we have figured out the mole. I don't want to name names, but she seems to be flying under the radar so far and my guess is that she hasn't found an opportunity to sabotage yet."

Eugene: "Well certainly this is a most challenging game. I have brought my laptop with me on this expedition and have compiled a list of traits and characteristics of all my fellow competitors. After doing a cross reference with known attributes the producer would be looking for in selecting the infiltrator positioned among us, I have come to the conclusion the mole can be none other then Robert Mitchell. His cunning behavior and ability to manipulate others is a powerful tool to yield in a competition such as this. However, the data I have assembled does contain a five percent margin of error."

Week Three (Water Adventure Challenge):

Eugene(a): "I am at a loss for words to express my amazement at attaining this goal and coming in second among the many here who are more physically fit than I. It still seems nearly impossible that the incident on the final rapid was resolved in such a way that I was loosed from the others and was able to finish the race. It's unfortunate that the others could not have done likewise. I really couldn't say for sure who the mole is, but that Mitchell fellow acted as if his crash was not accidental. Perhaps it was his successful attempt to eliminate several members from the competition."

Mitch(a): "Eugene. There's no way that was an accident, no matter what he says. When I hit that rock and tried to spin around and get headed the right way again, he came out of nowhere and slammed into me. He was clearly trying to eliminate me – and the others."

Jason(a): "From my vantage point, it looked like Richard Maxwell could have avoided the big collision but chose not to. In fact, I think he nudged Monica into it as well. Plus, he just seems like the mole to me. His action, everything."

Jack(a): "I don't want to accuse, but it seemed to me that Margaret purposely lagged behind in the end. She was leading the group most of the way; after all, she's a lot more fit that I am. And yet, as we neared the end, she slowed down, then stopped completely last I saw her. It seems odd that she'd need such long a rest as to be almost exactly where we had left her ten minutes before the race ended. Maybe she just was really tired, but I tend to think she didn't want to earn money for the team."

Jack(b): "The mole got away with a lot this time. Our gas was siphoned out and ended up on the other boat and they ended up with one less fish than they thought. I suppose the mole secretly threw one fish back or something. The only person I can think of is Richard Maxwell. There's only one way I can think of that the gas can could have ended up on the other boat and that is if Richard took it there inside that tackle box he brought over. He sure was anxious to be the one to bring it over. And he probably would have had time to toss a fish in the water too. Although it does seem surprising that the one fish he threw in would be the one that made the difference. That one thing makes me think it would be someone on their boat, but I can't see how it could be. And it's likely that they'd stop fishing once they caught over seventy pounds, I suppose, so they could get back in time. So maybe he just guessed that four or five pounds would throw them off. If so, his hunch paid off."

Connie(b): "Jason was pretty quiet most of the time, but he couldn't stand sitting still and was pacing the deck half the time. I can't help but wonder if he pulled the siphon trick, but I can't quite figure out how he could have assured that the entire thing would work. Until I can figure something better out, I'll have to go with Richard as top suspect. I just can't understand why the mole would be so obvious, so I kind of doubt that he's really the mole. You know, I think this game is driving me crazy!"

Week Four (Trio Race Challenge):

Richard: "Well my team made it, didn't it? Hopefully that finally tells the others that I'm not the mole. As for my own theories? It's hard to tell. The whole Team C mixup seems very suspicious and I would like to think it's because the mole is one of those three. Monica, Eugene and Jack have all done things that could be classified as mole behavior. And earning an exemption could throw suspicion off of one of them, if in fact they are the mole. But that's the thing… they seem to obvious. Today would have been a great day for the mole to just blend in and let others mess up for once."

Eugene: "I am seriously confused as to what to think. Mr. Allen would be at the top of my list of mole suspects, but after today, so is Ms. Stone. Unfortunately many competitors are beginning to take on that particular rodent's characteristics. I just don't understand how Monica managed to get lost, when she knew exactly which direction I had headed. Something is amiss."

Jason: "Everyone's making a big deal out of Team C's little confusion today. Sure there was some stuff there that was definitely suspect, but the mole isn't required to sabotage every single challenge. Only ones that she or he can get away with! If you were really want to know my opinion, than I'm guessing the mole flew under the radar this challenge. A lot of people are in the spotlight right now and the mole was afraid they would make it obvious if they did anything that drew attention."

Week Five (Fugitive Challenge):

Eugene: "Miss Kendall would surely disagree, but I believe her friend, Mr. Mitchell, is engaging in subterfuge. He distinctly told Jason and I that he had lost his radio and it was agreed that he would give up searching for it and move on in an attempt to find Richard Maxwell. Since Richard had a radio on him when we captured him, we know that eight people started out with radios at the beginning of the challenge. Mr. Mitchell lost his radio, or so he claims; yet there were eight CB radios placed in the vehicle at the end of the day. I would like to know how he would account for this discrepancy in what he told us."

Richard: "You know, I didn't expect to comment much this time around, but I found it interesting how hard the others found it to capture me. Barry was going to cuff me, but Jason offered to help. When he fell, he not only locked the handcuffs, but everyone turned away, letting me break free. He tripped, apparently, but I didn't see anything he could have tripped over. It's odd, but I think I had the best view of the situation, lying on the ground like that. It sorta makes me wonder if Jason wanted me to escape."

Jason: "Eugene called in to report some footprints, but in hindsight, I wonder if he was just trying to distract us. Surely he realized that some footprints wouldn't lead us far. He did end up finding Richard, though. Still, I think I'll stick by what Monica and I determined for now."

Jack: "I guess I really wasn't very involved in this challenge. I searched the majority of my designated area on the far north-western side of the village but found nothing and did nothing to help the team. I never even knew Richard had been found until I got the call to come back because the game was over. Because of that, my thoughts don't mean a lot, but I find it interesting that Barry, who started out with me, disappeared half-way through the challenge and didn't show up again until the very end. I wonder what he was doing all that time."

Monica: "I am thoroughly confused. Jason and I came up with a suspect, but it was obviously wrong. I mean, we must have really messed up. But still, I have no idea who the mole is. I wonder if Jason wanted to strategize with me just so it would ease my suspicions that he is the culprit. He hasn't been very high-profile so far, but there does seem to be a bit of a pattern emerging."

Week Six (Hotel Challenge):

Eugene: "Well this exhibition has taken a turn for the worst. I find it difficult to comprehend why the mole would lie about their participation in the most recent challenge. After all, they would know the truth would be revealed at a later point in time anyway. It just seems to cast unnecessary suspicion on that person. Of course, there is the possibility that the mole was not the person who lied. However, if that's the case, then someone has really lowered their moral values."

Jason: "The traitor on our team was definitely once again successful in messing up the challenge. Not only did they manage to remove one hundred thousand dollars from the pot, but they broke down the team dynamic. The moment we as contestants start getting suspicious of the activities of our teammates, we begin to lose trust. The mole wants us to suspect each other and is doing a fine job of that."

Jack: "My, my, my, my, my. That room was very bright."

Week Seven (Scavenger Challenge):

Richard: "Jack saved the day for us, but I still have a few suspicions. Maybe he just decided to let us win this time to confuse everyone. Throw us off track, kinda. After all, he did take a while to realize the problem with that picture and he had expressed a lot of interest in it when we were in that room. I've gotta wonder if he figured it out then or even knew about it beforehand and didn't decide to let me know until the end when he figured he had to do something for the team. Another interesting thing I picked up on involved Eugene and Jason. It seems to me that I heard them talking about their trip and they said they bought round-trip airline tickets. Now, we were never told we'd be having a round trip until we came to our clues, so how'd they know to purchase them? I've been thinking about it and I guess there are a few options. For one, maybe one of them is the mole and slipped up, showing a little too much of what he knew. Or maybe, considering both of those men are pretty brainy, maybe they figured out that if they had to end up back here eventually and one-way took up about half their money, that they would have to be coming back to the same place by plane, so they felt it safe to purchase the tickets. I mean, it makes sense, but it sure took me a while to think of it. Not that that means anything. Or maybe they just bought the round-trip without thinking and it just happened to work out. The whole thing's probably nothing and I think I'll stay with Jack as my primary suspect, but I still haven't ruled Eugene and Jason out."

Jack: "Well, I've been rather unsure throughout this game about who the mole might be. I've suspected just about everyone and I think I only confuse myself more every time I think about it. In yesterday's challenge, Richard didn't do much, really. I found the clue in the room and was the one who figured out the problem with the picture. Of course, I wouldn't expect Richard to know much about artwork and he did get us to the Eiffel Tower in the first place, but I can't seem to ignore the nagging suspicion that he's been up to no good the entire game. He's always just bordering on showing himself to be the mole without ever actually giving anyone the absolute proof."

Jason: "Eugene ruined it for us. If he hadn't given that enormous tip to the cabbie, we just might have been winners instead of returning here in shame. But I just don't know if that makes him the mole or not. I might as well admit it since the cameras probably caught the whole thing anyways: I wasted some cash too. It would have been enough to make it back if I hadn't squandered it. I guess we're both guilty, but obviously I know myself, so I'm still rather suspicious of Eugene. I've never really bought into the idea of Jack being the mole much, but I think Robert Mitchell would be just the type for it, so I'm watching him rather closely too."

Eugene: "Alas, yet another lost chance. And yet, I cannot say with any great confidence that I know or even strongly suspect the identity of the mole that resides amongst us. Nearly everyone here has done something that I would deem suspicious at some point in this game and it is quite difficult to determine much from the data provided. I have my suspicions and Connie isn't one of the two in whom my suspicions lie, but I do marvel at the fact that she has gone through this game almost completely unsuspected and it that singular fact is at least immensely intriguing, although it is by no means solid proof of anything whatsoever.

Week Eight (Dice Challenge):

Jack: "I'm very glad I earned the exemption in that last challenge since I'm still afraid I'm not sure who to vote for! Jason and Eugene were the only two who actually completed the last challenge, but that doesn't mean anyone, myself included, should cross them off the suspect list just yet. Both of them have done various things that have messed up our chances in challenges, and both shouldn't think they've gotten off the hook simply because they tried to complete a challenge for once. They haven't got me fooled... let me tell you."

Richard: "I can't believe the old man! He said my challenge wasn't as hard as the others, so he feels it's his opportunity to place my hard earned money on the line? Why not Mitch's money? I mean Jack was part of the reason Mitch was able to earn the $20,000, why not pick him? I just can't believe I did all that stuff for nothing, and got insulted in the process. What do I have to do around here to prove to everyone that I'm not the mole!"

Mitch: "I've revealed Connie isn't the mole, but now I'm trying to figure out who else it could be. Jack, Rich, Eugene and Jason are all very good candidates. That last challenge I messed up... but not because I didn't want to earn the money, come on! $20,000 is a lot of cash and would have been very nice to add to the pot. But eating bugs? Get real. The mole has gotta be Jack, but other then theories, I can't prove it."

Eugene: "Well none of the individuals can assert that I did not do my best to complete the most recent challenge. I did, after all, earn $10,000 to the group pot which I certainly hope to claim at the end of the game and help Katrina and I start a new life together. As for the rodent... I would fell most inclined after this challenge to believe Mitch is the mole. He refused to digest those insects when $20,000 was on the line! In the first place he earned that money by chance, and then he threw it all away. Mitch also has been very quiet these past few days. I believe it's because he feels bad he didn't tell Connie the truth, and now she's departed while he's present and accounted for."

Jason: "Well I no longer think Jack is the mole. If he's as clever as I think he is, then he wouldn't have lost the dice challenge. He's been drawing a lot of attention to himself and the mole just wouldn't do that! The mole is incredibly smart, obviously, otherwise we wouldn't have made it so far and lost so much money. Eugene could be the mole, he's smart enough to pull it off, but then we also have Mitch who is trained in the art of deception. I know who I'm gonna vote for... I just hope I'm right."

Week Nine (Murder Investigation Challenge):

Mitch: "Another day, another challenge and another step closer to a nice chunk of change. Wow, am I sounding poetic? Anyways, I’m a little confused this time. It sure seems to me that Jack could easily have faked the evidence, but then why would he plant it on the right guy and then vote for him? It’s like he planted evidence to make us win, but that doesn’t make sense! So then that leaves Eugene and Jason. I don’t think it’s Jason, but I’m not so sure that it’s Eugene either. I don’t know if I’ll answer the test assuming the mole’s Jack or Eugene. I’m really confused."

Jack: "Jason and Mitch are positive that I’m the mole, or at least that’s what they keep saying. As for me, I’m starting to lean towards Jason. He certainly has the talent for this type of thing and in recent challenges he’s been rather suspicious. If he is the mole, he’s getting away with it without too much attention being drawn to him, but I guess that’s what makes the perfect mole."

Jason: "It’s Jack, obviously. It’s almost too obvious. The guys running this thing made a mistake picking him because he just can’t hide what he’s doing. The odd thing is, with everyone knowing Jack’s the mole, we’ll all be answering the same on our tests. That means elimination comes down to how well we know Jack and how well we pay attention to him, I guess. This ought to be a close one. The others do think it’s Jack, right?"

Eugene: "I have yet to determine at this somewhat late stage of the game exactly who is responsible for the acts of sabotage committed in this game, although it is my personal belief that Mr. Allen is not responsible. Jason has silently but consistently pursued his own plans throughout the course of this game and I find the possibility of him being our saboteur becoming more and more apparent with each passing challenge."

Week Ten (The Final Challenge):

Jack: "Well, before the game began, I didn't expect to make it to the half way point let alone the finals, but somehow I managed. Eugene and Jason are top notch competitors in their own right and it's amazing how much we've accomplished in the several weeks we've been playing this game. Both individuals would make great moles and both have done several things in the past weeks that would make me suspect them. Jason, for example, is consistantly late when it comes to big group meetings and has lost $27,000 for that alone. That's a large chunk of change that has gone unnoticed by many of the former contestants, and I think his actions have spoken louder then words. Remember the siphon trick he pulled? Or the misfires in the Castle Challenge? He certainly would have a better shot than that with his experience I would hope. And then there's Eugene, who time and time again has the brains to pull this whole thing off and still be only the last suspect. He's not getting past me though, I know what kind of things he's done. Eugene hitting the boat in the kayaking challenge? Eugene not returning to get Monica and I during the Trio Race? He also had the opportunity to mess up the Murder Investigation challenge when him and I split up. If I recall, it was him who insisted I did do. It wouldn't surprise me if the reason Eugene won all $50,000 in the final challenge was to try and make us think it couldn't possibly be him. I'm not going to believe it."

Eugene: "I didn't comprehend what kind of monumental task this would be when I signed up for AIO Mole many moons ago. If I had known I would have made it all the way to the final three, I may have reconsidered the offer. I've been away from my wife for so long and I'm worried something may have happened to her. But we're not here to discuss my personal life, we are here to discuss the mole. Throughout the course of the game, I have never really stuck with any one particular person as my mole. I decided to never rule anyone out, and I feel it has helped me make it to the finals. However, Jack and Jason are the two remaining mole candidates, and I'm at a loss for which way I'm going to vote. Jack has, on numerous occasions, done something very suspicious. If memory serves me correctly, it was discussed at length after the first challenge that the boat was run aground because of Jack or Barry. Now that Barry is gone, it would lend evidence to the claim that Jack was acting on the producer's behalf. Jack has done many other things since but I'll keep those to myself. Jason, on the other hand, has been very quiet if he is in fact the mole. His background would lead me to believe he's capable of such covert cover that none of us would suspect him. As a friend to Jason, I feel he is not the mole. But this game does not allow prior relationships to get in the way of sabotage, and Jason certainly has lost a great deal of money. However, on the surface he's directly lost $27,000... underneath that surface, there's no limit to how much he could have done to siphon our money supply."

Jason: "My two best friends with me in the finals! Too bad it had to be under these circumstances, but on the bright side I've got a 50/50 chance of coming away with the cash. I know I'm not the mole, and nothing anyone can say will make that true, so it's either Jack or Eugene I'll be competing with for the $375,000 pot. I sure wish I hadn't been late for all those things, otherwise the grand total would be pushing $400,000 and I would love to put it to some good use. Well about the mole... my gut is gonna decide for me on this one. The mole played a terrific game and I've got to give him credit. Especially since I still don't know which one of the final two it is. Jack is a wonderful man. He's wise, smart and kind, but I know from past experience that Jack has been itching for a little excitement for quite some time. The AIO Mole game would be a great way for him to break out of that shell he made for himself. Then I've got Eugene, who's a genious and could pull the wool over everyone's eyes. His huge tip to the cabbie and misleading clue in the Fugitive game really gets me suspcious. Jack's substantial loss of money also raises my eyebrow. Guess I won't know who I'm voting for, till I vote. Wish me luck!
